According to the NSW Govt Dept of Finance & Services the Collins Inquiry into Insolvency in the Construction Industry is recommending that Statutory Construction Trusts be introduced to preserve subcontractors, tradesmen, suppliers & consultants money from unscrupulous and incompetent builders until disputes are resolved and or if the the builder becomes insolvent.
